Today, in Boston, half of our neighbors have to put food back at the grocery store because the price is too high. Parents skip meals so their kids can eat, and seniors go hungry just to pay the rent.
This is a deep injustice. And one of our best tools to fight it— the SNAP program — is at grave risk from the Trump administration.
Here in Massachusetts, our state government can choose to protect SNAP, so that we all have the dignity and choice we deserve at the grocery. We're organizing to make sure they do.
