We all deserve food, and the safety, care, and belonging that it means in our lives. Too many of our neighbors can’t count on that right now. Hunger is real and rising in Massachusetts.

The SNAP program is our most powerful tool in the fight against hunger: one that affords all of us dignity and choice in nourishing our families and communities. SNAP is efficient and effective -- and it's under attack from the Trump administration.

But Massachusetts can fight back. That starts with investing in DTA, the state agency that administers SNAP. DTA workers touch the lives of 1 in 6 Massachusetts residents, and they're struggling under caseloads that have risen 50% in the past five years and increasing threats from Washington. The result is more of our neighbors going hungry.

On Tuesday morning, we'll rally at the DTA office in Nubian Square to support workers and call on state leaders to make SNAP strong for Massachusetts.

Join us for songs, snacks, and storytelling as we say it loud: SNAP matters to all of us, and DTA deserves our investment, because we all deserve to eat with dignity.

Strong DTA = Strong MA

Join us on Tuesday, April 7 from 8-9 AM!
